Graphics for BrokerBanker.com: All files must be submitted in jpegs or giffs. Graphics for Print Magazine: All files are recommended to be 300dpi. Placed images need to be 100% scaling in the original application. Convert all files to CMYK. Files in RGB will not separate or print correctly. All color or graphic files must be supplied in a single channel EPS or TIFF format (No DCS files). All colors in Quark should be converted to CMYK and process separation box checked in the Edit Colors dialog box. All file names must be void of any DOS characters. Please convert Corel Draw graphics to an Adobe Illustrator format. To prevent hyphenations and possible reflow of text, go to H&Js in Quark, create “New” and click off Auto Hyphenations. Pages must be built according to final trim size. Full page bleeds should extend 1/8” beyond final trim size. All text should be kept 1/2” from trim. Fonts: Use only PostScript fonts. (No True Types please) Provide all screen and printer fonts with each document. Include all fonts used by imported graphics. Use actual font to create bold, bold italic, italic, etc. Do not use the font attributes on the application level. Miscellaneous: Use “Collect for Output” and review report for resolution, CMYK, fonts used and number of plates to be printed. Unwanted page items must be deleted and not covered up. No duplication of file names for graphic or page files. All page files must be accompanied with a laser composite, or a four-color proof.
